If you’re taking part in 11-11-11 please tell us here — it would be interesting if you say which stop you’re thinking of getting on, and when, how you’re going to document your circuit on the eleven bus and maybe even any stories or thoughts on the the bus route itself.

A group of our campaigners are doing it after work as a social starting from Kings Heath.
I’ll be getting on at Six Ways Erdington and taking my camera. Intending to stop off at some of the places I remember when I was a kid and used to travel to on the number 11- Handsworth, Winson Green and Harborne. A mate of mine and I used to sometimes go all the way round the 11 route in one go on a Sunday afternoon for something to do. That must be nearly forty years ago
I think I might get up early to do it so I can get it in quickly and record dawn over the 11… I aim to take my camera and take a photo every time the bus stops. Anyone else doing it early?
You’re welcome to do as you please – but the rules are that the circuit should be completed in the 11 hour window from 11am
Oh no! what a shame. I’ll try to do it then but not sure as it’ll take so much longer and I won’t get the effects.
In unfamiliar territory, the Omnibuses Blog will be trying the 11C… exactly 30 years to the year since last I went on this service… first post at 0659 with updates throughout the day…
Had a great afternoon on the 11 today. Nice to meet you on the bus, Jon. As Harry Hiil would say “What are the chances of that happening?!”
Have uploaded my photos to:

Well, Richard, it seems that coincidences come in threes, because I’m on the top deck front seat in your last photo of the bus. I saw you check your watch and snap a photo, and wondered if you were an 11er. If you look closely you can see I’m grinning at the thought.
However, I was boarding the 11C after arriving on foot in the opposite direction. My posts about it are on my tumblr log, and I’ll put a link to a gallery there also.

Talk about coincidences! You can see Jon Bounds on the top front right of my first picture of the bus, No.3. We also saw and commented on the zebra-striped Citroen 2CV. I think it was round about Stechford or Yardley, so it must have been out and about for a good part of the day.
Did a circuit from Bearwood to Bearwood from 4.30 to 7.00pm. Wrote notes while I was on the bus. Where do I put them?
Anywhere you like – in the comments here, or you could try emailing them to post@posterous.com which will pop them up an the web for you and you can send us a link.
Ok, cheers, I will email them when I get chance at work this afternoon.
Richard, Jon, et al: I’ve added 96 photos and commentary as a series starting here (http://is.gd/4WG3Y). The last photo links to Richard’s series. So it’s a bit of a convoy!
Do you think the 2CV was an 11er incognito? Or from the CIA perhaps? What time did you see it?
Will this year have one?
Yep, I hope people will be 111111ing all the way to the big 11111111 next year.
On the day can I sell my Outer Circle 11 Bus Route 2011 calendar? Or would that be rude?
It has become world famous.

You go for it, there isn’t a meeting place or any collection of people in one place tho’ — it’s very much each for themselves.
